SOIL INTELLIGENCE

Soil, learned once. Your answer, built on top of it.

We build intelligence models that read your soil, so you can make critical decisions on evidence. Built on your fields, licensed to you, re-read every season.

THE ENGINE

Your data in. Where each field can improve, out.

Erdaphon-1 learns from thousands of soil samples and your own fields, then translates them into an indicator or recommender that shows where each field can do better. Checked by a scientist, proven on your land.

Program

Start small. Scale only what's proven.

Our scientists sit on your side of the table at every step. Each step is priced on its own, and you decide whether to go on. The answers you receive are yours to use.

  1. 1. Can it be built?

We check whether your question can be answered measurably, with the data you already have and what's missing. If it can't be built properly, we say so here.

  2. 2. Build

We tell you what data we need, and we build the indicator or recommender on your fields. Before we start, we agree in writing what "working" means: the measure, the passing score, and which fields you hold back to test us on.

A fixed price per milestone, agreed upfront.

  3. 3. Prove

For one season, it makes predictions before anyone knows the answer, and we check them against the fields you held back. Then you decide: scale it, or stop.

A fixed price for the season.

  4. 4. Scale

It runs every season across the fields you name, re-measured on an agreed interval and sharpening as new data comes in. Your next question builds on the same model, so it's faster and cheaper to answer.

A fixed price for the season.

“The analyses from Soilytix showed me which soils are best suited for potatoes. This allowed me to select my fields in a targeted way and position the crop optimally.”

KWS
Working with Soilytix combines scientific depth with the responsiveness we expect from a trusted partner. They take complex soil questions and turn them into structured data we can act on across our pipeline.

Soilytix's analyses and expert guidance help us rigorously evaluate complex questions around sustainability and the soil impact of different nursery production systems, giving us the insights we need to drive the sector forward.

With the Soilytix software, we can organize sampling much more efficiently. All steps are digitally documented, the data flows directly into the system without detours, and we save ourselves a lot of rework

The Soilytix analyses provide us with solid scientific insights into the impact of our regenerative agriculture practices. We conducted a microbiome analysis in a diverse agroforestry system and, based on the composition of the bacterial, fungal, and microfauna communities, can draw conclusions about the influence of the trees on soil health and resilience.

Game Conservancy Deutschland
I really enjoy working with Soilytix, both privately with my own institute and through the Game Conservancy Deutschland. First of all, we receive state-of-the-art support, both in terms of data analysis and, of course, laboratory work. It's absolutely outstanding — the personal service is always available, no matter the time of day. We are extremely satisfied with the collaboration and the support that Soilytix provides us virtually around the clock.

Yphen
I'm a research and development manager at Yphen, a French startup that develops biosolutions for soil remediation. We started working with Soilytix to characterize the metagenomic profile and biological functions of our soil, particularly to identify species that may be able to remediate it. Needless to say, Soilytix’s dashboard, and especially their customer support — has been excellent. We’re really looking forward to deepening our collaboration and building an even better pipeline for soil analysis.

New analytical methods allow us, as an independent consulting and research company, to see crop production from new perspectives. We uncover relationships that were once hidden and build the basis for ongoing improvements in sustainable arable farming. The soil’s microbial world is fascinating – and complex. Understanding it and turning insights into actionable, reliable recommendations requires a strong data basis. Reliable data collection and its clear presentation for accurate evaluation are the reasons why we work with Soilytix.

LWG Bayern
As part of our research at the Bavarian State Institute for Viticulture and Horticulture, we have been working with Soilytix for some time. The comprehensive laboratory analysis they provide enables us to investigate complex questions within the Competence Center for Organic Horticulture project. With Soilytix, we can assess the effects of soil cultivation in vegetable production and the influence of cover crops on soil organisms. The detailed data preparation and the personal support we receive help us gain valuable insights for our work.

OWNERSHIP

Your data and your results are yours. We keep the model accurate and improving.

  • Your raw data stays yours. It is never shared without your consent.
  • Every reading we produce for you is yours to use however you like, for the fields you name.
  • Erdaphon-1 and the pipelines behind it stay ours. That is what lets us keep them current and maintain them for you.
  • Your data builds your product. Using it, anonymised, to improve our comparison groups is your choice, and never without written consent.

What you pay each season is the re-measuring and the upkeep of the model, not access to what is already yours.

Processed and hosted in the EU. Read our data governance.

WHO ANSWERS YOU

Every interpretation you receive is written and signed by a Soilytix scientist.

Erdaphon-1 reads, ranks and structures. It does not draw conclusions. Our scientists do, so there is always a person accountable for the answer you act on.
  • Our own laboratory, in Hamburg.Physicochemical analysis, 16S, 18S and ITS metagenomics, enzyme assays and more, one protocol, one roof. Lab work is never outsourced.
  • A named scientist for your account. The people who build your model are the people who re-measure it.
  • Checkable by designEvery score names the group of comparable fields it's measured against, so your own scientists can verify it.
